Stand By Me/ Cuenta conmigo

Not a moviegoer, but I've always loved "Stand by me". Without any doubt, one of the best movies I'´ve ever seen. 

Quizás, una de las personas menos cinéfilas que conozcáis, pero,"Cuenta conmigo" es, sin lugar a dudas, una de las mejores películas que he visto.

Gordie: Maybe you could come into the college courses with me.
Gordie: Quizás podrías empezar la universidad conmigo.
Chris: Yeah, that'll be the day.
Chris: Sí, ese día nunca llegará.
Gordie: Why not? You're smart enough.
Gordie: ¿Por qué no? eres lo suficientemente inteligente.
Chris: They won't let me.
Chris: No me dejarán.
Gordie: What do you mean?
Gordie: ¿Qué quieres decir?
Chris: It's what everyone thinks of my family in this town. It's what they think of me. I'm just one of those low-life Chambers kids.

Gordie: That's not true.
